Usually, we earthlings are happy having our cup almost full, that is good enough for us, but not for God. The Lord who is LOVE, keeps on pouring until the cup overflows. He gives us more than enough and so much more than we ever deserve.
Our " cup runneth over " when He doesn't just answer our prayers but He gives us an overabundance in our prayer requests. He doesn't just forgive our sins, but He gives us a new life to live eternally with Him and it can all start right here in our world where we are at our present time. Let God be your HOST, He wants to feed and quench your thirst with Living Bread and Water. "Let your cup runneth over." You will never be thirsty again. HE'S THE GOD WHO IS MORE THAN ENOUGH! "OUR CUP RUNNETH OVER!"
